Where it works

Built for Claude Code, open to any MCP client

The verified way to use DISCORDsimple is the Claude Code plugin: install it from our marketplace, set your key, and Claude can announce to your Discord channels.

DISCORDsimple is a standard remote MCP server, so it also works with any MCP client that can send an Authorization: Bearer header. The custom-connector flows in Claude Desktop and claude.ai expect an OAuth sign-in that DISCORDsimple does not offer yet, so they are not supported. See the setup guide.

How it works

From sign-up to your first announcement in four steps

Step 1

Create your account

Sign up and choose a plan at account.ccmssolutions.com. Start free with one server, or go Pro for up to 10.

Step 2

Get your API key

In your account portal, open API Keys and generate your DiscordSimple key (a csk_... key). It is shown once, so copy it right away.

Step 3

Add the bot and choose channels

Sign in at discordsimple-mcp.ccmssolutions.com, connect your Discord server to install the bot, and pick the channels Claude may post to.

Step 4

Install it in Claude Code

Add the DISCORDsimple plugin from our marketplace, then set DISCORDSIMPLE_MCP_URL and DISCORDSIMPLE_CONNECTOR_KEY. The setup guide has the exact commands.

Built for teams that live in Discord

  • Founders who want support alerts where the team already talks
  • Project leads pushing task updates out of the tracker
  • Operators who want a morning brief without writing one
  • Anyone tired of copy-pasting updates into channels

Three focused tools

DISCORDsimple gives Claude exactly what it needs and nothing more: list_channels to see where it may post, post_message for text and rich embeds — mention-safe, so it can never ping @everyone — and read_messages so it can check what’s already been announced and skip duplicates.

Post anywhere you allow

Claude can post to exactly the channels you grant — text posts on Free, rich embeds on Pro. You decide channel by channel, and the bot never sees the rest of your server.

Mention-safe by design

Announcements can never ping @everyone. Your server stays calm: updates arrive in the right channel without waking up the whole community.

No duplicate noise

With read_messages, Claude checks what’s already been posted before announcing — so a re-run brief or repeated alert never floods the channel twice.

Secure by design

DISCORDsimple is self-hosted by CCMS on ccmssolutions.com infrastructure — your announcements never route through a third-party middleman. Every tenant is isolated, and every request is checked against the access you granted.

  • Per-tenant isolation on CCMS infrastructure
  • API keys stored as SHA-256 hashes
  • Rate-limited requests
  • The bot only sees channels you grant it
  • Message reads are flagged untrusted to the AI

Frequently asked questions

DISCORDsimple is a connector that lets Claude post to your Discord channels. Ask Claude to announce anything — support-inbox alerts, task and project notifications, scheduled morning briefs — and DISCORDsimple delivers it to the channels you choose.

DISCORDsimple installs in Claude Code as a plugin. Generate a csk_... API key in your account portal, then run /plugin marketplace add ccms-inc/discordsimple-marketplace and /plugin install discordsimple-connector@ccms-hosting, and set DISCORDSIMPLE_MCP_URL (https://discordsimple-mcp.ccmssolutions.com/mcp) and DISCORDSIMPLE_CONNECTOR_KEY to your key. Any other MCP client that can send an Authorization: Bearer header can connect to the same URL with your key. Our setup guide walks through every step.

Not yet. The custom-connector flow in those apps expects an OAuth sign-in, which DISCORDsimple does not offer yet, so pasting a key there will not connect. Use Claude Code with the plugin, or another MCP client that supports a Bearer header.

No. Posts are mention-safe — the bot can never ping @everyone — and it only sees the channels you grant it. Message reading is limited to those channels and is used to de-duplicate announcements.

Free covers 1 server, 2 channels, text posts, and 50 actions per month. Pro is $9/month for up to 10 servers, unlimited channels, rich embeds, full message reading, and 5,000 actions per month.

An action is one tool call Claude makes through DISCORDsimple. Listing your channels (list_channels), reading recent messages (read_messages) and posting a message (post_message) each count as one action, whether or not the call succeeds. Setting up and signing in do not count. Your plan sets the monthly allowance: 50 actions on Free, 5,000 on Pro.

Yes. DISCORDsimple is self-hosted by CCMS on ccmssolutions.com infrastructure with per-tenant isolation. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes, requests are rate-limited, the bot only sees channels you grant it, and message reads are flagged untrusted to the AI.

Create an account and choose a plan at account.ccmssolutions.com. Generate your csk_... API key under API Keys, then sign in at discordsimple-mcp.ccmssolutions.com to connect your Discord server, which installs the bot, and choose the channels Claude may post to. Finally, install the Claude Code plugin and set your key. Our setup guide has every step.
